Women With Disabilities Australia (WWDA) is the peak organisation for women with all types of disabilities in Australia.
The Clearinghouse is a central component of the Victorian Women with Disabilities Network Advocacy Information Service (VWDN AIS) which has been established by the Victorian Women with Disabilities Network (VWDN) and Women’s Health Victoria (WHV).
It contains information resources in a variety of forms including: articles and papers, fact sheets, frameworks, legislative materials, reports and submission. The Clearinghouse also includes organisations and directories. Clearinghouse Connector
- The Clearinghouse Connector is a capacity building initiative designed to connect professionals and organisations that work with women to the resources available in the Women’s Health Victoria Clearinghouse. Each monthly edition of the Clearinghouse Connector contains resources selected to provide the most up-to-date, relevant and useful information on a specific
topic. Resources cover information from research, statistics, government policy, prevailing social conditions affecting women’s health status, and clinical and therapeutic management of health matters. All resources profiled in the Connector are available from the Clearinghouse collection.
The Victorian Women with Disabilities Network, in
partnership with Women’s Health Victoria, has established the Advocacy Information Service (AIS). The AIS advocates on behalf of women with disabilities, and provides support and information to assist advocacy work that addresses the needs of women with disabilities in Victoria.
The Australian Women's Health Network (AWHN) AWHN was
established in 1986 and operates as a women's health advocacy, information and lobbying organisation, working with Government policy makers and other agencies to improve the health and well-being of Australian women. Seniors.gov.au provides you with a single point of access to Government and
non-Government information and services for older Australians.
